Ken Dickinson was born in Thornton, a small village on the outskirts of Bradford, Yorkshire, England.
Ken cast his boat out onto life’s oceans in 1973 and arrived in San Francisco in 1981. He writes purely for pleasure and spends his working days helping people learn how to use those pesky computers that seem to have taken over our lives and the art of conversation. Some part of him regrets his complicity in all of this.
He is now completing his sixth year’s journey into the world of poetry. The first three years were an intense time of poetry writing, the last three years have been an intense time of deep personal work, where Ken has been exploring who he is and where he is going through a Community of Silo’s Message. Most of the poetry that he writes, reflects the intensity of his search.
